Carrera 4 S
The four wheel drive system has a multi-disc viscous coupling
and transfers between five and 40 per cent of the tractive
force permanently to the front wheels. This endows the two
new coupes with excellently balanced performance, up to
and beyond the limits of adhesion, increased straight-line
stability and improved traction on slippery roads.
Porsche Stability Management
(PSM) now has two new functions: the brake system is pre-filled
ready for a full brake application, thus eliminating the
air gap between the pads and the disc and making stopping
distances even shorter. The 4S model comes equipped with
a 3.8-litre engine developing 355 bhp can reach from 0-60
mph in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph. The
C4S shares its body design with the 911
Turbo, giving you the Turbo look. The lower front
spoiler has three large intake grilles, just like the
Turbo. The upper front spoiler differs slightly from the
Turbo's to accommodate aerodynamically for the difference
in weight and weight distribution.
Cayman S
The Cayman S codenamed the
987 C7S in Porsche parlance is powered by an engine based
on the Boxster S unit, but which has
been bored out to 3.4-litres. It also borrows the VarioCam
Plus system from the 911 which uses electro-hydraulic
tappets to vary the timing and lift on both inlet and
exhaust valves. This helps boost power to a healthy 291bhp
and can reach 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds. This sports car
is known to be a coupe that holds two doors. It also has
got two seats in its cabin. The Cayman idea came from
the inspiration of the Boxter. This vehicle took a share
of awards during the Auto Express New
Car Honors awards in 2006 and is greatly recognized as

Cayenne S
The superb handling for an off-roader,
despite its size and weight of the Cayenne corners superbly,
generating amazing levels of grip and tackling twisty roads

give the steering even more feedback and make the SUV yet

which dashes to 60mph in 5 seconds, and can hit 170mph.
Like the engine, the six-speed Tiptronic S
automatic transmission is perfectly prepared for the supreme
power and torque Torque to be conveyed to the wheels, with
gearshift points adjusting infinitely to the driver’s
style of motoring.
The excellent passive safety
of the Cayenne S results not only from
the use of the most modern materials such as high-strength
steel throughout the body of the car, but also from the
entire structure of the vehicle with three load levels above
one another serving to absorb deformation energy.
